When you work with the Law, you understand that what you believe greatly defines who you are and what you can achieve. Did you know that if you think negatively about yourself, then it becomes true? If you know this, then what would you change in your mind to become the person that you want?
You could blame your condition on karma, or your environment, or even the genes you inherited. However, this pattern of thinking won’t get you anywhere in life. You must change the way you see yourself, and know that the only thoughts worth thinking are the good thoughts.
Spend all your mental energy thinking only about the thoughts that make you stronger.

Read this gem of a quote from George Bernard Shaw:
People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don’t believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can’t find them, make them.
George Bernard Shaw
By being responsible, you own a personal power that you can tap into to overcome difficult conditions should you need to.
Win Your Internal Battles
This is what Shakespeare discovered about working with the Law. He learned that the most difficult condition a man can endure comes from within the mind. Shakespeare realized that to truly become victorious, you must learn to win your internal battles against yourself.
You can read this in the characters that Shakespeare creates. The stories he writes tells about characters who fight against their own doubts, fears, and mental blocks and how they overcome it. Shakespeare is trying to teach us how to win our own inner struggles through his writings.
When you understand that the greatest block you have comes from within yourself, you don’t waste energy focusing on external problems. You no longer blame things you can’t control, and instead start to think about the things that you can.
Use the power of the Law to be in control of how you think about and perceive yourself.
Use the Energy of Your Mind
At its most basic level, the power of the Law is the power to be creative. You have the power to create any condition you want, whether it’s internal or external.
When you are working with the Law, realize that you have this creative power and practice it. The process of using this power can be done in three steps:
Mind → Image → Action → Results
- You begin by using your mind to be creative
- Visualize the image of the condition that you want to achieve
- Write down the actions you need to take to achieve that condition
When you visualize, be as specific as possible. The clearer vision you have, the more creative you will be at coming up with solutions to make it come true. When you turn your ideas into actions, you will start to see the change you desire.
