You need to be powerful to have control of your life. But how do you actually become powerful? Learn from the life of Rhonda Byrne.
Have you had moments where you feel completely exhausted? Have you had days where you try to take care of everybody’s demands? Do you feel like your life is taking control of you, instead of you being in control?
If you do, then you need power in your life.
You need to be powerful to have control of your life. You need to be powerful to manage your days so they are productive and meaningful. You need to be powerful so that every moment is filled with energy.
But how do you actually become powerful?
You can discover how to become powerful by learning from the life of Rhonda Byrne.
Before she became an international best-selling author, Rhonda had a severe breakdown. Every area of her life seemed to be falling apart. Luckily, she came across a book that contained a wisdom so powerful that she was able to save her own life.
This book is “The Science of Getting Rich” by Wallace Wattles.
Rhonda finished reading the book in mere hours, and immediately shifted the way she was viewing her life. She also started to practice the laws contained in the book, known as the Law of Attraction.
But she didn’t merely follow the guidelines in the book. Having the talent she does, Rhonda Byrne expressed the ideas of Law of Attraction in her own words, so it became more powerful for her.
In one of her books, “The Power,” Rhonda explains that there is only one power you need to create anything you want in life. That power is Love.
A quote from her book says:
Many people don’t know about the power of good feelings, and so their feelings are reactions or responses to what happens to them.
Rhonda Byrne
So to be more powerful in your life, you must consciously choose to feel good feelings more often. From all the good feelings you can feel, Love is the most powerful of them all.
If you were to see it from a visual perspective, the way most people feel looks like this:
- An event happens to you
- You react to that event
- The outcome is you feel your reaction
For example: Your co-worker gets a promotion and you don’t. You react with thinking that your co-worker doesn’t deserve it. The result is you feel disappointed and jealous of your co-worker. You are not happier.
But to be more powerful in your life, Rhonda sees it the other way around:
- You begin by feeling what you want, which is successful
- You react by acting how successful people are: helpful, valuable, and full of ideas
- An event happens. You are promoted to be the leader of a big project
Do you see the difference? Do you see how you can apply it to your life also? If you notice, there is only one thing that changes between the two figures above. That change is you. That is how you become powerful.
