“Be grateful for what you have now.”
Some people begin their day with a poisonous combination of coffee, cigarettes, and the morning news. With this influx of bitter chemicals and negative images, do you really wonder why many people run through their days like panicking zombies?
A better way to start your day would be with a clear mind. You can clear your mind by whispering to yourself what you are grateful for. The more you praise the good things, the more good things that come your way.
I find that choosing three specific things you are grateful for helps to clear your mind efficiently. It is also a good way to deal with anxiety, if you are the kind to easily panic in the mornings.
In essence, this quote from the Secret says being grateful is the only way to start your day that is worth your time.
“When you want to attract something into your life, make sure your actions don’t contradict your desires.”
After being grateful in the morning, you should know what you want to do for the day. If you don’t know, find out what it is you want and then find out what you must do to achieve it.
Many people know what they want but they aren’t clear about how to achieve it. That said, many people who know how to achieve it don’t truly believe they can. This is called contradicting what you ask for.
When you sabotage yourself this way, it’s a waste of time and energy. This can happen to you even if you are a good and smart person. You ask for what you want but you don’t allow yourself to receive it. You don’t make the room for what you want to arrive.
If you don’t believe in yourself who will? Internalize this quote from the Secret and clear your own self-sabotaging mental blocks. Make sure there is congruence between what you desire and what you do every day.
“A person who sets his or her mind on the dark side of life … prays for similar misfortunes and disappointments in the future.”
Do you have a friend who always sees things on the dark side? A friend who is skeptic and critical about everything? The question is how happy is that person? How happy can he be?
Many people have objections with the Secret. They say that not all bad things that happen to you are a result of your thinking and attracting. Some bad luck just naturally or accidentally occurs.
True, but these are less frequent cases. More often than not, your self-proclaimed misfortune is a result of your own thinking. You may be focusing too much on lack, and not enough on prosperity.
According to the quote from the Secret above, it’s easy to set your mind on the negative. This is bound to happen when you are working in the day and start to become exhausted. Find some time for meditation and clear your mind from negative thoughts.
Be discriminating with any thoughts you have that aren’t positive. Keeping an army of positive thoughts will attract more success in your day.
“If you’re feeling good, then you’re creating a future that’s on track with your desires. If you’re feeling bad, you’re creating a future that’s off track with your desires.”
Rhonda Byrne says, “As you go about your day, the law of attraction is working in every second.”
I personally attest to this. When I am on track with my goals, I feel good. Clearing my to-do list assures me that I am on the path to create the wealthy future I desire.
However, when I become sidetracked and put off getting things done, I start to feel guilty. Left alone, this guilt can grow to become a cancerous emotion and I become more not confident with myself.
Rhonda continues with this quote from the Secret, “Everything we think and feel is creating our future. If you’re worried or in fear, then you’re bringing more of that into your life throughout the day.”
Yes, negative feelings happen easily. That’s why you must practice positive emotions proactively. This is to make the Law of Attraction work on your favor.
“… At the end of every day, before you go to sleep, think through the events of the day. If any events or moments did not go the way you wanted, replay them in your mind in a way that thrills you.”
On some days, everything happens according to plan. On other days, you wish things would’ve run smoother. Do you have to blame yourself if it didn’t?
Of course not! Mistakes are made so you can learn from them. At the end of the day, do a small and short review of what you achieved and didn’t achieve. Congratulate yourself for your successes, and improve from your failures.
The end of day review is a great way to get a head start on the next day. Figure out how you could have made this day better, and do it the next. This quote from the Secret reminds you: today is a new day!
“Your imagination is an extremely powerful tool.”
This is the foundation of the power that is contained in the Secret. Your true power is the strength of your imagination. Even Albert Einstein says imagination is more important than intelligence.
When you are faced with a problem, how do you respond? Do you immediately become a victim of the condition or think about how you can change it? Use your creative thinking to turn an unfortunate situation into one that is profitable for you.
As much as your imagination can be used to enhance your life, it can also be used to sabotage it. Be careful of what you implant in your mind, as what you plant will be what you reap.
