Writing and recording subliminal affirmations yourself has several benefits that make it have more impact. Here are three steps to do it …
Recording subliminal affirmations yourself has several benefits compared to affirmations you get from a program. The main benefit is that your subconscious is familiar with your voice and therefore it can have a better impact than a recorded voice from a person that you don’t know.
That familiarity can make your subconscious feel more relaxed and open to the affirmations that you suggest to it. Another benefit is you can insert emotion into the recording to give it energy. Listening to the pre-made subliminal audio doesn’t have this familiarity and energy.
The third benefit is you can write affirmations according to your specific needs. However, this means you need to understand what you need, what you are facing in your life. If you don’t understand, if you’re running away from the problem, then the affirmations won’t be efficient.
It might also be possible that what you want isn’t what you need. You could end up getting what you desire, but it’s not what you expected and causes more stress for you. Therefore, being clear on your needs is important to maximize the impact of the subliminal affirmations.
Once you have an understanding of what you need, you can begin writing the affirmations. There are a few points to notice when writing for subliminal affirmations. These points are the same as when you write affirmations for daily practice.
1. Use the present tense. The affirmation should say “I am,” and not “I will.” “I am” means that you’re already attracting, manifesting, and realizing what you want to achieve and there is no conflict, no doubt about it.
If you use future tense, “I will,” it implies that there is a distance, a struggle you must endure before you can achieve it. Your subconscious will not believe the affirmation, since it is in the future and far away.
2. Use positive language. The affirmation should say “I am successful in business,” or “I am the type of person who finds it easy to make money,” and not “I don’t attract the wrong business partners,” or “I am far away from poverty.”
Negative language can have different implications. If you say you don’t attract the wrong partners, you can still have a losing business with good partners. That’s why you ought to focus on the core issue of what you want and say it in a positive way so it’s clear what you manifest.
3. Speak to yourself. The affirmation you write should have a friendly tone, like you are talking with yourself. The example, “I am the type of person who finds it easy to make money,” is good because that’s something you would say in a casual conversation and easy to believe.
Once you have made the affirmation, you can record it in your voice using an audio recorder or a subliminal program like the one we review here. A subliminal program makes it easy for you to add a custom track into the library, so you can switch it out with other tracks that the program provides and listen to the affirmations that you need.
