Questioning the meaning of life can lead you to feel lost, if you’re unable to find a satisfying answer. You could spend a fortune trying to figure out the purpose of life, and not come close to finding an answer.
If you’re looking to get results from all the effort you’ve taken so far, rather than focus on the meta-physical, it’s better to focus on the tangible actions you can take.
However, it’s worth keeping an open mind and listening to the inner voice. An open mind is an attitude that can help get the results you want in life. It means you are constantly learning about better ways of thinking.
One way to open your mind – and find one answer to the meaning of life – is to listen to the works of Abraham Hicks.
If you’re not familiar, Abraham Hicks is the body of work by Esther and Jerry Hicks who channel the energy of non-physical spirits who call themselves by the name Abraham.
What? Learn from spirits?
Yes, it sounds very unusual for most people. However, in being consistent with keeping an open mind, you can find that there is wisdom to be learned from the voice of spirits.
The channeling happens when an audience asks Abraham questions, and the answers are channeled by Esther and Jerry Hicks. Throughout the hundreds of seminars they have given, the main theme behind the secret of life is the importance of feeling good, personal empowerment, and personal responsibility.
As Anthony Robbins says, personal responsibility is the first step towards success. However, many people avoid being responsible for themselves. As a result, their lives become stagnant, empty, and unfulfilled.
So to avoid living an unfulfilling life, it’s beneficial to be a little meta-physical once in a while, and ask a serious question such as: “What is the meaning of life?”
When asked during a seminar about the meaning of life, Abraham Hicks answered:
You mean what is the purpose of life? It is joy.
What is the basis of life? It is freedom.
What is the result of life? It is expansion.
What is the reason you came forth into this physical experience? You wanted more. You wanted more exposure to more opportunity to have more feelings.
So the meaning of life is life.
It’s to feel life pouring through you.
To feel the exhilaration of a new idea coming to fruition.

Pretty good answer, right? It might not be the definitive answer, but it’s a good starting point.
Personally, the part about “You wanted more” is the most profound for me. It seems the problems we have in our lives come from simply wanting more of what we already have.
The answers given by Abraham Hicks are simple. The key to applying it into your life is to remember to stay humble, and learn from anything and everything that is in front of you.
When you keep an open mind, stay humble to learn, and pray, you will create the wealth you seek. You will also increase the chance of getting a satisfying answer to the question of the meaning of life.
